🎆 Content Library - Manage from Dashboard Library

You'll now be able to Manage your Content Library to keep things organized and see how items are being used. You'll even be able to edit them to make adjustments before using them in your trips. Learn more about the Itinerary UI + Content Library.

Video below is based on early testing - specifics will change before release:

• Delete items from the Library
• Rename items (and edit the descriptions)
• Move items between folders to better organize your content
  • Drag and Drop to other folders in ADD TO LIBRARY as well
• See how many times your item has been USED so you know you're using the right one
• Oh, and we moved the Archive tab to the end of the list after Templates

🔢 Trip Activity Feed Glow Up ➡️ TRIP SUMMARY

Have you ever clicked on the old Activity Feed at the bottom of the menu?

If the answer was NO, what is that!? then you know why we had to change things up. This page has gotten a "Glow Up" to paraphrase Nick, our favorite demo genius and retreat organizer (book a demo with him here).

It is now the TRIP SUMMARY and has some new shiny things to look at.

🎢 Faster is better! (Performance Improvements)

• We are reducing the number of 404 missing page errors on the site based on bot activity - this is the number 1 cause of spikes in system load when the bots attack. By eliminating their access to pages that generate a 404 message, we reduce their impact on your experience.
• Load google maps Places lookup asynchronously to reduce time to load Planner Itinerary listing and the Add/Edit for Itinerary and Highlight items
• We have closed the final loophole that would have allowed users to overbook if they attempted to purchase the same final spot on a package at the exact same millisecond.
• While fixing the overbooking loophole, we also improved the performance of the Checkout Flow page. You may not notice in individual cases, but if you run a campaign and have many people accessing the page at once, it will perform much better than before.

🎟️ Delete Coupons - you have the POWER! ⚡

Such a small thing, but so powerful, now you can simply click to remove a coupon that has been mis-applied.

Of course the amount of the coupon will then be due and any scheduled automation reminders will be sent to the person with the balance due. 

If you need to re-apply a discount amount, use the Apply Credit feature.

 

Other small changes include:

• Displaying "Negative Credit" instead of "Manual Refund" when a negative credit has been applied
• Negative Credits and Manual Payments will now show with a negative sign on the Trip Page Invoice

💪 Task Library is COMING! But first, we HIDE...

This update we laid the groundwork for the awesomeness that is coming.

1. Changed the Manage Tasks table to use the same style as Manage Highlights & Itinerary
2. Trash -> has become HIDDEN TASKS
3. You can now bulk select and HIDE tasks
4. You can click to SHOW/HIDE Tasks without needing to change your view
5. You can see how many items are in the visible TRAVELER TASKS and in HIDDEN, so you'll know if you're hitting your limit

💪 Sorting of Installments in Planner Table

If you've encountered this issue, we expect you'll appreciate this refinement. 

If you mix AFTER registration and BEFORE trip start date on your payment schedule, plus fixed dates, you might be finding the sorting to be confusing, like this:

This is difficult to get right since the actual dates will be personalized per TRAVELER. But to make it a bit clearer, we've changed the sort order:

So now the the due dates first based on the type of due date:

1. AFTER registration

2. Specific dates

3. BEFORE trip start date

💪 Categories -> Tour Series

See how much you're using your Tour Series. Now we've cleaned up the management table to be clearer.

BEFORE:

Trips and Templates were counted together as NUM TRIPS. Also, the Tour Series were not sorted.

This was inaccurate and confusing, so we fixed it!

AFTER:

• Tour Series are sorted Alphabetically
• Now we show the Number of Trips (NUM TRIPS) disctinct from the Number of Templates (NUM TEMPLATES) so you can clearly.
  • These counts exclude Archived Trips and Templates.

💪 People Search is prettier & now search by PNR/Ticket Number

We've spiced up the table to include the status icons you have come to love from the TripBoard and the Traveler Category.

For accounts with access to the sponsored Flight Booking items, you'll now be able to search by PNR and Ticket Number as well.

💪 Global Booking Report - Forecasting Future Income

Did you miss the updates we made to the Global Booking Report?

We made it so you can see which bookings have pending payments based on the Booking Date, Trip Start Date and Trip End Date.

You can just pull a "Booked & Due in Future" report to see what cash is coming in for current bookings or "Booked & Past Due" to chase the naught ones.

 

Changes this update:

• Date type selection has been moved before the Date Picker
• So that when you pick Trip Start/End Date the date range defaults become "Next" instead of "Last" making it easier to search into the future
• Use "Custom Date Range" if the set ranges aren't what you need

Booking Date - date range is "Last 7 days", etc

Trip Start or End Date - date range is "Next 7 days", etc

For accounts using Flight Search & Book:

1. The Flight Booking Dates fields will now accept input in the user's local time rather than forcing conversion to UTC
2. Allow entering uppercase OR lowercase Fare Codes to improve user experience. Both of the examples below are valid (aaa12 and  AAA12)
3. The prompt to purchase flights has gotten a glow up as well

🔢 Sync Changes from Content Library

We have released the first stage of the Sync Changes feature to start showing the items that are "Synced" to the Content Library / Template.

Changes will not automatically sync yet, but we can see which ones are SYNCED and next phase is to ensure any changes to Library/Template items are "synced".

🔢 Affiliate Profiles

Accounts that are sponsoring this feature will be able to Link Affiliate Profiles to specific TRIPS, so those trips can only be sold by those linked Affiliates.

The new TRIP SUMMARY page will show how much they have sold and what is still available.
