Allow completion of Tasks for Everyone in the Booking

You will love the "group within groups" feature we call Invitation Groups, and now it just got better!

You as a Planner will have the ability to set your Task to enable this option.

If enabled:

  • Your Travelers will see the option to:

    • Respond with exact same information for: [companion name]

  • The option is off by default - the Traveler must click to use the feature.

    • If they check the box, then they don't have to complete the task again if the information is the same for the other people in their group.

    • They will be prompted to confirm they want to respond to everyone in their Invitation Group
  • This option only shows when people are in an invitation group. So solo travelers won't see it, even if the option is enabled

The data is copied for each person in the group, but document attachments are NOT duplicated.

If disabled:

  • Profile & Registration forms or Passport forms do not allow this option

  • Otherwise, the Traveler will see a friendly message to guide them on how to complete the form for others in the group: [Companion name] need to complete their form - go to [PeopleTabLabel] to respond for them.
    • Example: Jonathan Worther needs to complete their form - go to Adventurers to respond for them.

TIP: Encourage your Travelers to use this for their Flight Details task when everyone in the booking is on the same flight. You can update your Task instructions to mention it.

Visually see your rooms across packages and give them names so you can generate structured rooming lists to send to suppliers.

This is a simpler version of our Enhanced Accommodation Items where you can manage room blocks and roommate allocations differently per hotel (great for student groups where the room configurations change from place to place).

We will be publishing an API and Zapier Action to allow you to update a particular person with a payment.

Advanced options: 

  • Payments allocated across the invitation group dynamically
  • Payments applied to specified installments

Right now YouLi supports a single room per checkout, so if you need more than one of the same type (package) or different packages in the same checkout session then you need Reservations.

🐞 KNOWN ISSUES

If a Task is added from Library Unique that has resources (files or links) attached and then the Library Task Item resources are changed - the Unique Task that came from that Library Task will also have it's resources changed.

If a Task is added from Library Synced and then converted to Unique, the same issue applies.

- we have a fix in design, watch release notes for when this goes live

WORKAROUND: do not change the resources on Task Library Items if there are unique Tasks that will be broken by that change.
