How to Use Room Blocks
Once you've purchased a license. You'll find a new option under MANAGE HIGHLIGHTS & ITINERARIES when you click to ADD ITEM.
Simply select the type of Enhanced Itinerary Item to set up an Accommodation Item:
The check-in and checkout date/time are shown
(and you still have the option to "Also show on Highlights")
You can then manage room block allocation and know exactly when you're ready to lock your rooms and export the allocations to send to the hotel.
Group Leaders can Manage Room Blocks
For those of you involved in B2B sales, you likely have Group Leaders responsible for assigning travelers to rooms. Instead of relying on spreadsheets that can lead to errors, empower them to manage room allocations directly within YouLi. This approach ensures accurate tracking of all travelers, eliminates copy/paste mistakes, and allows for easy exporting to send to the hotel.
- requires a Custom Role to be defined (to ensure they only see/access what you want them to)
- even if they cannot edit an Item, they can access the Accomodation item to manage the room block allocations
- the allocations will be copied within the same trip or between trips when keeping the invitees on the copied trip (they will be moved to Status = "Invited" but retain their room allocation)
