Where Do I See or Set the Registration Deadline for a Trip?

You can automatically close trip registrations after a specific date and time in YouLi. This helps you control when travelers can register and ensures you don't receive late bookings.

How to Set a Registration Deadline

Follow these steps to set your registration close date:

  1. Go to your Trip Dashboard
  2. Open the relevant Trip
  3. Click Update Trip
  4. Select Overview
  5. Scroll down to find Registration Close Date
  6. Set your desired date and time
  7. Click Save

Once set, registrations will automatically close after the specified date and time.

Important: Check the Trip Time Zone

Make sure you confirm your Trip Time Zone when setting the deadline.
The registration deadline follows the Trip's configured time zone, not necessarily your local time.

This helps avoid confusion — especially for international trips.

What Happens After Registration Closes?

After the deadline passes:

  • Travelers will no longer be able to register
  • Your trip will display a Registration Closed message
  • No new bookings will be accepted

Customize Your "Registration Closed" Message

You can personalize the message travelers see once registration closes.

This is helpful if you'd like to:

  • Provide contact information
  • Offer a waitlist option
  • Direct travelers to another trip

To customize the message:

  1. Go to Update Trip
  2. Navigate to Overview
  3. Edit the Registration Closed Message
  4. Save your changes

Where Do I See the Current Registration Deadline?

To check your current deadline:

  1. Go to Update Trip
  2. Click Overview
  3. Look for Registration Close Date

If no date is set, registration will remain open indefinitely.
