Unable to Connect Stripe After White Label Domain Setup

If your site has already been configured with a White Label Domain (WLD) or Partner White Label Domain (PWLD), you may experience issues when attempting to connect a Stripe account. This is a known limitation related to the Stripe OAuth verification process.

Symptoms 

When trying to connect Stripe from a WLD/PWLD site:

  • The Stripe connection process does not complete successfully.
  • Users may be unable to authorize or verify the Stripe connection.
  • The connection works as expected on the standard YouLi domain.

Cause

Stripe's OAuth authentication flow does not consistently work when initiated from a WLD or PWLD environment. As a result, Stripe account connection should ideally be completed before a WLD is configured.

Workaround

If a WLD or PWLD has already been set up, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to the standard YouLi site at youli.io using the same user account.
  2. Navigate to the Account > Payments > Stripe connection settings.
  3. Connect and authorize the Stripe account.
  4. Once the connection is successful, log out (if required).
  5. Return to your WLD/PWLD site and log in again.

The Stripe connection should now be available within your WLD/PWLD environment.
