But wait a minute....don't we already have Add-ons? What's the difference between an Itinerary Add-on and a Booking Add-on?
Itinerary Add-ons are great for optional extras like a hot air balloon ride or an extra night. These are an activity or event that is optional to the Traveler and they can add it/them to their booking on their Invoice (or under Highlights) until the close date on the item or you run out of capacity for it. The amount for the Itinerary Add-on is added to the overall cost of the booking (so it is paid for over time, via Installments).
But what if you have an ESSENTIAL Add-on that you need the Traveler to select and pay for at the time of booking? Because you need commitment and payment right away for that Booking Add-on.
Then you need a Booking Add-on
On a per trip basis, you can configure a set of options that your Traveler must choose from.
Whether it's group travel insurance options, airport transfers, or essential extras, get paid at the time the booking is made for that essential add-on.
TIP: Use a $0 option to allow Travelers to opt out of the Booking Add-on
