πŸ“­ White Label Email Sending (WLES) - enhancements

On Grow and Enterprise plans you get to configure the domain that YouLi sends emails on your behalf. 

We've enhanced the solution to ensure that we always use the configured "Friendly From" for WLES clients if set, otherwise YouLi will use the dynamic value based on the User's Full Name (under Account -> User Profile).

  • This is a good option if you want a consistent brand name shown like "Blue Horizon Travel", regardless of whether Liv or Lenny or whoever is the Main Contact on the trip.
  • Learn more about why you might want WLES
Understanding how YouLi manages the email headers for email we send on your behalf:
    • The email address of your Team Owner or Main Contact (for automated emails), or selected Sender (for manual messages)
  • "From" email - domain must be authenticated
    • YouLi handles the authentication required: DKIM, SPF and DMARC 
    • Non WLES accounts use "reply@youli.io" 
      • In this case, the "From" and the "Reply-To" do NOT match - and that's ok
      • Because the Traveler replies are sent to YOUR email but YouLi handles the authentication for the "From" domain.
    • For WLES accounts, we can use YOUR domain (once configured with DNS)
      • In this case, the "From Email" and the "Reply-To" DO match - for enhanced branding

  • "Friendly From" name
    • This is the value that usually shows in the preview and sometimes hides the "From" domain
    • This is always the WLES Friendly From if configured, otherwise YouLi will use the dynamic value based on the User's Full Name (under Account -> User Profile) if they are the Main Contact or are selected as the Sender.

🚢 Traveler User can be added to your Team

Especially if you use our Platform White Label module, you might have someone who signs up first as a Traveler and then later you need to add them to your team (using an RBAC Role for limited access).

You can now add a Traveler user via the Add Team Member in Account -> Team - and they will be converted to the Role you assign them + still be able to access their trips under I'm Attending.

Did you know you can set a Registration Close date (and time!)? Under Update Trip -> Overview, scroll down to:

If you are using πŸ†• Dyanmic Installments then the date shown will ALWAYS be the due date of the payment - regardless WHEN the payment for that installment was received.

  • keep this in mind when adding manual payments with past dates
  • the actual payment date is always shown above the installment schedule block

If you are using Fixed or Percentage payment schedules, then the date shown in the installment table will be EITHER the due date or the payment date.

  • This has not changed

Currently in a Sponsored Pilot program is the ability to load "Approved" people to an "Authenticated Checkout" trip.

This requires Travelers to be logged in to purchase the trip AND to be loaded as an "Approved" person on the trip.
