      New Features - Release 2.179 - June 6, 2024 - Wanderwell Travel Insurance + Checkout Flow login

      Travel Insurance is always recommended - now we recommend a particular insurance provider for U.S. residents traveling overseas: Wanderwell

      Are you looking for an insurance partner that shares your values? Well, we found an amazing partner in Wanderwell, a Certified B- Corporation and just generally awesome people!

      IN PROGRESS: We are working to improve conversions with in-path options - get in touch once you have your affiliate code so we can advise on the best available integration method.

      • We strongly encourage you to become an affiliate if you sell to travelers who reside in the United States and are traveling overseas (more global plans coming soon!).
      • They are a member of the Transformational Travel Council  (TTC) and the Adventure Travel Trade Association, and many TTC Allies/members of those organizations are already happily representing Wanderwell plans.

      DON'T WORRY! We heard you in our Facebook group that you like the ability to select your own Insurance partner - and you still can! Simply link out to your preferred partner in a Task

      But if you don't have a preferred partner, we are making it super easy to enable Wanderwell and get paid to recommend them! Right now we are looking for early adopters to showcase the integration.

       

       

      📢 Travel Insurance (Booking Add-On) - Checkout Flow Only

      LIMITED RELEASE

      We are working with our sponsor on this new feature to require Travelers to select an option (in this case, Travel Insurance) they MUST pay for at the time of Booking.

      Traveler Category - Allow Traveler to select on Checkout

      • You can now allow your Travelers to specify their Category and thus change their Registration Form on Checkout.
      • However, you will need to make a different Profile & Registration form for each Category to work with this new feature.
      • To request this feature - contact YouLi Support - it can be enabled at the account level.

      Checkout Flow - Warn about an existing booking

      • If a Traveler has already booked and attempts to do so again, they will be warned in the Checkout Flow and prompted to access their existing booking.

      • They can still proceed to make another booking with the same email, or click to login/request access to their existing booking.

      Checkout Flow - Prompt for Login

      If you have:

      On Checkout Flow, your Travelers will now be prompted to Login/Signup before they checkout. It is not required, but makes the process smoother.

      There are 3 states, and these are the default prompts for each one (configurable for your account):

      1. Traveler is not Logged In, links to login:
        • Already created an account? Login to see your trips checkout-flow-login-prompt

      2. Traveler is Logged in WITH registration on the trip, links to trip:

        • Account: [Email] has registered for this tripcheckout-flow-registered-for-trip

      3. Traveler is Logged in with OUT registration on the trip, links to logout:

        • Account: [Email] Not you? Logoutcheckout-flow-logout-prompt
