Release 2.167: Trip Tabs, Trip Counts, more Platform White Label enhancements, Stripe metadata for payments and bug fixes for webhooks.

😎 Trips Open in New Tab from Dashboard 👐

Power users know that using tabs saves time loading pages - so now we help you save time by opening new tabs for you!

From the Trip Dashboard, when you click to open a trip it will open in a named tab and then allow you to "CLOSE TRIP" and return to the dashboard without having to reload the dashboard.

👉 Popup to confirm booking after Checkout when Require Login 🤔

If you're thinking, WTF does that mean? Then you probably aren't using the Require Login and still use our amazing Magic Links - that's cool too - so you can skip this one.

If you DO use Require Login and Checkout Flow, then you'll be thrilled to know you can set the message that appears when the recently booked Traveler is sent to the login screen. (regardless of the checkbox setting)

Go to Trip Settings -> Message emailed after registration

and set it to something like:

🐜 Trigger New Registration Trigger/Webhook on FIRST Stripe payment

You can listen for the "New Registration" and automate workflows using Zapier and take action when a customer makes their booking.

Previously this was being triggered for all payments and now ONLY for the first one.

Use the Payment webhook/trigger to listen for any payment (not just the first).

⚡For your bookkeepers: More metadata in Stripe 🚧

Meta data is now being passed with the payment and automatically included in any payment exports and zaps!

To access this data in Stripe:

1. Look at the payment (click from Manage Payments)

2. Export all your payments and see these columns at the end of the row

This data will also be passed in the Stripe webhooks that can be caught in Zapier

If you need to use this data in your zaps, just check in the "metadata" object as shown in the screenshot below.

If you have smartraveller alerts enabled, you'll need to request certain tags to be activated to apply this feature to certain trips.
