🔨 Chip Away has changed 💪

🚫 Important: Reminders are still disabled after your Traveler makes one payment

By popular demand, Chip Away will no longer mark the Installment as paid until the full installment amount has been paid. This allows travelers to chip away on each Installment, not just the balance due.

Why does this matter?

Here's an example from Overton Travel, when students need to self-fund a trip, they pay lots of small amounts for:

• if they pay a $300 amount off a $1,500 Installment
• they still need to pay in full by a certain date
• so the installment should still show $1,200 owing on that Installment

Need to offer a way for people to register for a trip without paying anything? Seems odd right? Well, here's a few reasons our Planners have asked for this feature:

• The school has paid for all the students, but you need them to register
• Incentive travel, where company has paid, but employees must register their attendance
• You want to allow people to join a waitlist 
• You want to allow people to register to discover a roommate before booking

👬 Advanced Roommate Options - Split Invoices 💲

• Also in this update, is a new roommate option to split the invoices (in addition to being able to split the payment).
• Now you can allocate roommates in the same Invitation Group while keeping all their information private!!!! 👈 This is critical for proper inventory management.

🏃Catchup Payments can Exclude Due Soon Payments 🚫

↩️ Introduced last product update: Now you can control this feature from ACCOUNT > PAYMENTS (no need to open a ticket).

For Example: If you have cash-flow conscious student travelers who cannot afford to pay the installment that is due in 7 days along with the overdue payments from last month, then check this box to allow them to just catchup and then come back next week for the next installment.

👓 Accessibility Improvement 👵

• Some text was using a lighter font weight, making it hard to read - this is now set to a standard font weight. Those of us with older eyes are very happy with this change!😆
• See below the example of the difference in font-weight between the overview and the itinerary description - this has been FIXED!

🎟️ Per Person Discount for Coupons 👥

We are currently testing a new mode for per person coupons.

By default today, coupons are applied to the BOOKING (regardless of how many people are in it).

So if the coupon is $500, it is a $500 discount on the entire booking even if there are 2 or more people.

We are exploring the option for PER PERSON discounts, so a $500 coupon would actually discount the total due based on the number of people, so for 2 people it would be $1000, and for 3 it would be a $1,500 discount.

Bug Fixes & Enhancements

• 💪 7938 - Chip away feature as showing NaN when user did not enter a valid number. The error message has been changed to be more user friendly
• 🐞 8446 - For large trips - did you ever notice the search term wouldn't take the first time on the Trip CRM? super annoying! FIXED!
• 🐞 8258 - EDIT WEBSITE was not going to website settings when the user should have been able to
• 🐞 8401 - Activity Feed filters were showing oddly on mobile and when the page was not tall enough. FIXED!
• 💪 8326 - When using Checkout Flow BEFORE Trip Page, the SHARE TRIP LINK will now use /c/ by default to avoid a redirect. This is part of optimizing the load for large event launches.
• 🐞 8423 - The LOAD MORE button was showing on the Global Bookings report even when all records had been loaded. FIXED!
• 💪 8404 - Global Bookings Report does not pre-load data, so you can enter the search terms you want before we spend time generating the report. This should save a few seconds each time you go to the report. Winning!
• 💪 8411 - YouLi Admin reports can now filter Payments on the Trip Owner
• 💪 8534 - we've clarified the extra Stripe features when connecting, especially the local payment methods
