Content Library updates, plus enhanced Bookings report filters and more data in Zapier webhooks for accounting.

New Features

⚠️ Global Bookings Report - filter by Booking & Past Due / Due In Future

Tired of scanning through each Trip for a list of the past due payments? Now you can simply filter across all Trips.

Show only the bookings that have a past due installment.

🔢 Content Library: Now Add FROM Library + Create Top Level Folders

EARLY ADOPTER: This feature is still for early adopters, so is not a complete feature set, review below to see what is new and what is yet to come.

Last update you could add TO the library, now you can also add FROM the library (as well as FROM Templates) and add Folders at the top level to help you organize.

We've also changed TEMPLATE to TEMPLATES in the popup.

Extra things you can do:

  • When adding TO the library, the MAIN Image for the item will be COPIED
    • That means if you ever delete the Trip it came from, the Library item will not lose it's image 
    • When adding FROM the library, that image will be REFERENCED
      • So if the library image file is changed, all the children will get the updated image - this change is not currently supported via the UI - but will be possible in future.
  • Search Template Names
  • Search Library Item Names and Descriptions
  • Add top level Folders when using the ADD TO LIBRARY feature
    • When adding a folder, you might need to scroll down to view it
    • When created, it will default to adding the current item to the new Folder
    • If the item is not added, the folder will not be saved

We have also refined permissions, so only Team Members can use the Library - that means Co-Planners cannot use the feature. (early adopters are added per User, so this will only matter when this is released as General Availability in July)

  • Only show the "Add FROM" button to users who ARE in the Trip Owner’s team and have edit permission for itinerary items.
  • Only show the "Add TO" button to users who ARE in the Trip Owner’s team and have edit permission for itinerary items.

🔢 New Styles! More readable forms when Updating Trip

Remember that if you have Platform White Label (PWL), the font used on these pages will be your selected PWL Font, which can be different from the Trip Page Font set under ACCOUNT -> SITE SETTINGS

Here's an example of the new style plus a few changes to headings/groupings:

  1. "Allow people to register in invitation groups" is now "Group Registration"
  2. "Group Registrations" and "Require specific email domains" are grouped under "GROUP & EMAIL DOMAIN OPTIONS"
  3. The prompts for Register to Pay are now under a heading that makes that clear: "REGISTER TO PAY PROMPTS (DOES NOT APPLY ON CHECKOUT FLOW)"

🔢 More data in Payment Webhooks (Zapier) to improve your Accounting integration

Tired of manually loading data from Stripe or YouLi into your accounting platform (like Xero or Quickbooks)? Time to automate with real time data flows between YouLi and your Accounting solution.

  • Trip Tags will now populate for TESTs in Zapier - making it much easier to setup Zaps based on Trip Tags
  • ChargeID to make reconciliation with Stripe (and other gateways) a snap
  • For existing webhooks: Data about selected Booking Add-on, Line Items, and Itinerary Add-ons

    • COMING SOON: New webhook to alert when these items are added/removed for a Traveler

🐞 FIXED: Failed Deposit Payment no longer looks "PAID"

We had cases where a failed Deposit would show as Paid. This issue was introduced when we added the concept of "Paid in Full" for installments - which allows us to avoid changing the amount of an installment once it has been "Paid in Full". Learn more about Payment Allocations.

🔢 Flight Search and Book Enhancements

Continuing our partnership with Reho Study Tours, it is now possible to configure the YouLi platform to connect to the flight booking application (white labelled as Sky). 

Included features:

  • Configure promotional text for the account to prompt travelers to book their flights after booking onto a trip
  • Per trip links to promote self-serve booking of flights - turn it on/off per trip 
  • Per trip email domain restrictions (optional)
  • Per trip fare codes to offer specific fares to different travelers based on which Trip they have booked into
  • Per trip booking fees for flights - added on when they are booking their flight after spending all their time searching for the perfect option.

🐞💪 Bugs and Enhancements

  • 🐞 10058 - When using the "Show this message in popup after registration" feature under Trip Settings - it was breaking in some mobile devices - causing the user to have to refresh and not seeing the intended message. HOT-FIXEDShow this message in popup after registration
  • 🐞 10054 - Failed Payments will no longer change the sort order of installments in the Payment Schedule table - this caused confusion when a payment was not successful, but the installment moved to the bottom. FIXED!
  • 🐞 9925 - Sometimes Payments got stuck in PENDING state but showed as SUCCESS in Stripe. We have added an update to make sure this doesn't happen as frequently. Please report if you have this issue in future. 
  • 💪 10052 - Link to the correct help article when doing a COPY or TRANSFER from the TripBoard 
  • 💪 9968 - You can now use the COPY/TRANSFER feature from the Mobile TripBoard, as well as the VIEW AS and EDIT features tripboard-icons-mobile
  • 💪 9953 - You can now either UPGRADE to get Travefy itineraries embedded, or DISMISS if you don't use Travefy.
