📈 YouLi Plan Pricing Increase

As detailed in this blog, we finally had to increase our prices. The changes have been applied to existing plans and new upgrades will see the new pricing and NEW ICONS!

All impacted accounts should have received a notification - be sure to check your email and contact support if you have any questions.

🏧 AutoPay Pending

What, you don't have AutoPay enabled yet???!!! Be sure to turn it on before you launch your next trip.

Previously we only showed AutoPay enabled AFTER the payment was successful.

Now it will appear as a PENDING AutoPay. If the payment is successful then they will be enrolled in AutoPay using that payment method. If it fails, they will be notified and the AutoPay enrollment will be canceled.

It will also appear as pending in the Planner view for Manage Payments and Trip Board, look for this icon:

Typically this will happen because of an ACH, which can take many days to clear. Learn how to enable ACH to take direct bank transfers in the US.

❌ Failed Pending Payment Emails

Also typically associated with ACH payments....

Failed payments suck, but at least now your Travelers will be notified if a payment doesn't succeed after being in pending state.

This is especially important when using the ACH option via Stripe - which can take days to complete.

If a payment fails after it goes into PENDING state, YouLi will now send an email to the person making the payment that it has failed, so they can click back to their invoice and try again.

Not sure when to use the Transfer feature vs. the Copy feature for your Travelers?

Quick Summary of the difference:

  1. TRANSFER is when someone is NO LONGER going on one trip and needs their payments moved to another
  2. COPY is when you want to BOOK a LOYAL customer onto ANOTHER trip - but not disrupt the Trip they are being copied from

🔏 Early Adopters: 2FA Security on Logins (Optional)

Two methods of authentication are better than one!

We are releasing a new security feature that allows you to enable a Two Factor Authentication (2FA) using an Authenticator App like Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator, to protect your account with one extra layer of authentication.

The two factors (2F) are:

  1. Your password (always required)
  2. Your authenticator code (new option)

We recommend this for ALL users and all teams. We are still adding features and gathering feedback, so feel free to wait for General Availability if you prefer, but we'd love to have you jump in to take advantage of the new security today by requesting early access.

Once enabled for your account, you'll find the option under User Profile -> Security:

Ⓜ️ Early Adopters: Min & Max Passengers

We are releasing a new feature that allows Planners to restrict the Maximum number of People that can book onto a Trip. 

You might find that using your package inventory is all you need to control bookings. But in some cases you might need to make sure that despite the packages booked you keep a limit on the number of people booked.

For example: you want to offer your double rooms to be available to be booked as either a single or double occupancy (variable occupancy) but you don't actually want to end up with ALL of them double occupancy because that would be too many people.

With this new feature: You can put a Max on the number of people - so even if you have available package inventory, you don't get overbooked.

This maximum will apply across all your packages (including $0 packages).

We are aware this is a challenge if you are using packages for a Waitlist and will be addressing this with future updates.

You'll also be able to set a Minimum for your own tracking to see when you reach your minimum for the Trip.

If you'd like to explore this new feature before it becomes Generally Available later this year, request early access.

TIP: This feature can be used on a per Trip basis, so you can try it out before rolling out across all your trips.

💠 Sponsored Feature: Tour Series, Main + Pre + Post Tours

We are making changes to how our Tour Series feature works to support a sponsored feature: linking "Pre" or "Post" Tours to a "Main" tour. 

Previously, adding a Trip or Template to a Tour Series looked like this:

🌅 Sponsored Feature: Global Image Library

For the Enterprise customer sponsoring this feature, we are making it possible to manage a Global Image Library for your entire account.

This allows you to be in control of the files so you can replace in one place and have that impact all your trips that reference the image.

It also allows you to organize folders of images however you like - by country, by theme, by season, whatever makes sense to your organization.

COMING SOON: Ability to use this Global Image Library for all images, not just the ones inside your content descriptions (like Banners, Highlights/Itineraries hero images, and Logos). (#10132)

  • 🐞 Template items now sort alphabetically (#10131 )
  • 🐞 Search in Content Library shows correctly: "Search item names & descriptions"  (#10130 )
  • 🐞 Search results will now ignore leading and trailing spaces  (#10128 )
  • 🐞 Adding items from Templates will set the end date to the start date in the Itinerary rather than pulling in the value from the Template item (#10083 )
  • 🐞 10148 - Fixed invalid character when Content Library was empty

  • 🐞 9993 - Payment method in Planner email for Direct Payments will now show the same text as the Traveler clicked on
  • 🐞 10057 - Team Admins could not send a reminder to Affiliates - FIXED! 
  • 🐞 10125 - For saved payment methods being used for the first time on a Trip, the Stripe payment type was not being saved correctly - FIXED!
