How-to: Upload an Image and add a Border - in any description field
The contrast between the border and the image can make the details of the image pop, adding more depth and dimensions. Follow these steps to give your image a border.
NOTE: This article applies to all description fields that allow you to upload an image. Here are some of the most common places Planners add images:
- HIGHLIGHT & ITINERARY item descriptions
- TRIP OVERVIEW
- Starter Web Business Promo & other Starter Web fields
- TASK instructions
- PRICING DESCRIPTION
1. Click on the image icon where you want to add the image
2. Upload an image to the file manager
Select GET FROM STOCK to add an image from Unsplash
or
Select UPLOAD to choose an image from your device
3. Select the image you want to show
Hover over the image you want
Click PICK
4. Time to Edit the Image
When you upload the image, it will not be formatted. Double-click the image to open the editor
Edit the WIDTH and HEIGHT to adjust the size
Try starting around 200 WIDTH and adjust from there
5. How can I add a border around the image?
Click TAG SETTINGS to open advanced options
Type "border" into the STYLES box
In the next box, write "#px 'solid' color"
You can also write a hex code if you need it to match brand colors
Try starting the px at 5 and adjust it from there
NOTE: This is based on CSS. For a different look, try using dotted instead of solid. If you are familiar with CSS, play around with it yourself to get more advanced results.
What will this look like?
