Out of the box, YouLi sends MANY automated emails on your behalf. You can read about all the confirmation and reminder emails we send. You can configure these emails through the platform at no additional cost. 

Recently we've been getting requests to create customized versions of some templates, like the invoice that is sent when a Traveler or Planner requests a receipt.

For example, including extra information in the receipt like:

  • Number of Days
  • Room number
  • Booking Date
  • Package description

HOT TIP! πŸ”₯ We can customize these templates for a fee, just open a support request to get more information (available on white label domain account only).

BONUS: If you have a finance, billing or reservation address that needs a copy of these receipts, that option is now available.

As our friend Natasha from System Rocks is well aware, analytics makes the difference when you're planning how to spend marketing dollars and what strategies are working/not working.


That's why we are always improving the source tracking so your data has even more insights.

When an email is sent from YouLi to your travelers, we add the following utm parameters:

  • utm_source=youli
  • utm_medium=email
  • utm_campaign=${Trip Short Name}


You'll see this information in your acquisition reports in Google Analytics. Be sure to set up your code!


πŸ‘‰πŸ’ΈπŸ’Έ Automated Payment Reminders 

Previously, YouLi would send an automated payment reminder to people who had a "PENDING" payment that needed to be confirmed by the Planner.

Thanks to feedback from Kim @ Pristine Trails, we are no longer sending reminders as long as the traveler has told us the payment is on the way.

🐜 We have also fixed some special cases where people still got reminders even if they did not owe for that particular installment.

We are always improving as we find little issues, here's a few we fixed:

  • Ever see your Trip Page banner image change revert to the old image? FIXED
  • We now log to the Activity Feed when you EDIT PRICE from Manage Payments, so we can troubleshoot when personalized prices get messy! (Thanks Nick)
  • When adding payments or credits from the TripBoard:
    • Avoid certain rounding issues FIXED
    • Default to the balance due for the entire invitation group
  • Did you check the "show registration" box on the SHARE LINK popup and find it didn't work? FIXED
