KEY UPDATE:
We released the Trip Users and "Trip Page Contact" functionality a few months ago and we are chuffed to see so many people using it.
IN FACT, it turns out everyone expected that if TRIP PAGE CONTACT is set to YES that they would receive all the same email notifications as the Main Contact.
So we decided to make that true....🥁🥁🥁..and now....🥁🥁🥁
All Trip Contacts will receive trip notifications just like the Main Contact based on traveler activity like:
- Registrations
- Payments
- Task Completions where Notify is ON
If you're not sure who your Trip Contacts are, just click on the wrench on the your trip and check out the Trip Users who have YES next to their name as shown below.
Click the pencil on the right to change your Trip Users if they are NO and should be YES, or vice-versa.
ALL THE OTHER UPDATES:
-
Payments: Square SDK update - Square has made their old SDK “deprecated” so we had to upgrade our integration with Square to maintain our integration and improve our ability to test. Clients connected to Square have been notified to reconnect their square accounts.
-
Easy to Use: Handled two error cases with more useful information that previously showed OOPS error: When the country doesn’t match the linked Square country for the Planner and the Traveler.
-
Easy to Use: Show Traveler clearer message when payment options are disabled. Including the case where credit cards are enabled but the gateway connection is no longer valid.
-
Typo: We fixed the typo on CREW upgrade to be “No booking fee” <- How cool is that, 0% Booking Fees on CREW
-
Old Package: Removed reference to PRO in the Credit Card upgrade prompt and cleaned up logic so it prompts the user to Upgrade correctly
-
Easy to Use: Changed the Task selection drop down from: Custom form (create below) To: Custom form (build your own)
-
Bug Fix: Booking fee was showing incorrectly for Stripe payments in the Activity Feed. It was always correct in the Payments report.
- Bug Fix: Sometimes a Trip Page would show an OOPS error if it was left open for a long time. These are less likely to happen now.
